CZ5000 Appliance Tester

The CZ5000 Patrol is an easy-to-use Portable Appliance Tester, designed to meet the requirements of Australian / New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 3760:2003.

It will perform the essential electrical safety tests required for portable appliances and equipment, and can be used to test domestic appliances, industrial appliances, power tools, electrical portable outlet devices and extension leads.

The CZ5000 is a fully portable tester which can operate from internal alkaline batteries or from a 240V AC supply when present.

To operate you simply select the appliance type, either Class I, Class II, or Leads, and press the "Start Test" button. The Patrol automatically selects the appropriate test sequence of Earth Bond, Insulation Tests and Continuity/Polarity Tests. All pass and fail results are displayed at the end of the test.

The Patrol comes in a rugged drop-proof / weather-proof instrument case and is supplied with test adaptor leads and a set of tags to get you started.
